Low-Key Beginnings

Shraga Gold had been singing solo informally at family events for years. It took the utter amazement of a stranger to his performances to encourage his choir considerations. Shira Choir was thus born in 2003, bringing pitch perfection to the Jewish music stage.

Shira’s children’s choir is available for booking for albums, private events and other occasions. Under the tutelage of Shraga Gold, Shira’s founder and music director, Shira junior produces pure, soulful music delivered by the most talented boys ages 8 to 13. At request, Shira can provide any combination of adult/child performers.

Pomp and perfection: Shira arranges for a magnificent truck and sound system to accompany the choir. A dazzling chuppah serves as the procession’s focal point, and signs, torches, flags, and pecklach are available for the children in attendance.
